I'm a spiritual guy but not an active church goer. I haven't been to church in years, and haven't gone regularly since I was 14 years old.
Before you cast me down as a heathen, you should know that i've likely been to church WAY more times than you. In fact I've been so many times that I've built up "church credit" that exempts me from going to church each week now.
I went to a religious grade school where we went to church 5 days a week. I went to school there for 10 years, kindergarten through 9th grade.
10 years of this x 36 weeks a year of school time x 5 days a week = 1,800 church sessions attended
By reasonable standards I should have gone to church only once a week in this timeframe - 520 times. So by age 14 I had attended around 1,280 more church sessions than the average church goer who goes to church once a week.
By my calculations, that's about 24 years of "church credit". I'll be needed to go back to church when I'm 38.
